Blaine Younger took his passion for music all the way to Nashville soon after he graduated from Kansas State University. However, after a short stint in music city he made his way back to his home state of Kansas to pursue a career as a performer. He soon gained some well-deserved notoriety, especially in western Kansas as he was getting some airplay on the Country Bull Y102 in Hays, KS.
After honing his craft as a performer, Blaine started focusing more on his songwriting. He ended up winning a NSAI songwriting competition which earned him a recording session in Nashville and meetings with several heavy hitters. After the success of winning the contest he was reinvigorated to chase his dream in Nashville and soon he moved back to music city with his wife and 2 twin boys in tow.
Blaine is now writing multiple times a week with other songwriters and continues to seek out a publishing deal. I admire his determination and work ethic in a town full of talent.
So here we go with episode #77 of The Troubadour featuring our conversation with singer-songwriter, Blaine Younger.

I love this show. Blaine is a friend of mine that I know as a fellow songwriter. He is a great guy and the most talented songwriter that I know. Thanks for letting me hear his story.
