Today’s guest is a consummate musician who can basically play any instrument with strings, AND play them well.
Native Oklahoman Travis Linville’s fascination with music started at an early age and his continuous learning and perfection of his craft has made him one of the most respected musicians to ever be a part of the Red Dirt/Texas Country/American Scene.
He’s spent time fronting his own bands as well as being a hired gun for artists like Hayes Carll, Todd Snider and Marty Stuart.
Linville’s new album, I’m Still Here, is a great collection of songs that should soon become a part of your own collection. In the interview you’ll hear just how this record came to be with Travis working alongside fellow Oklahoman, and monster musician in his own right, J.D. McPherson.
