On this episode of The Troubadour you’re going to hear the interesting story of how a horsemen and a wilderness ranger for more than a decade in Western Montana named Michael Shaw morphed into an up and coming singer-songwriter and musician that you are gonna want to check out.
Michael’s debut album, He Rode On, dropped on June 3rd, 2022. Michael co-produced the project alongside Grant Siemens. If you’re not familiar with Grant, he’s known for his work as the lead-guitar player in Corb Lund’s band, The Hurtin’ Albertans. Personally, I’ve always been a fan of Grant’s playing and unique style on Corb’s records, so before I even heard Michael’s new record, I figured I’d dig it. And, I was right.
Michael’s unique writing and vocals are exactly what singer-songwriter geeks like me gravitate too. I’m really enjoying my advance copy and it’s been spinning in my truck ever since I got it.
You can find out more about Michael and how to buy his new record by going to www.michaelshawmusic.com . Michael definitely has a unique story to go along with his musical ability and I think you all are really going to like this episode so let’s get rolling. Here comes episode #153 of The Troubadour featuring a guy who I’m sure is going to gain some new fans, singer & songwriter, Michael Shaw.
