Welcome to episode #143 of The Troubadour!
We have a great show for you today!
Singer-songwriter Pam Rose is a 2-time Grammy winner and has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music business including Emmylou Harris, guitar virtuoso Tommy Emmanuel and even Sting.
Carly and I had a wonderful time talking with Pam for today’s episode and I think very soon into the interview you’ll all figure out why. She’s simply a beautiful and sweet soul with a ton of talent.
In this visit you’ll hear about Pam’s journey to Nashville and how she became part of a songwriting team that has stood the test of time in Music City. With her longtime writing partner, Mary Ann Kennedy, the two have penned some outstanding songs over the years including the Lee Greenwood hit, “Ring on her finger, time on her hands”, Martina McBride’s “Safe in the arms of Love” and Restless Heart’s “I’ll still be loving you.”
She’s also a very accomplished vocalist and provided backing vocals for several songs you’ve heard on your radio including LeeAnn Rhimes song “How do I live without you” and one of Martina’s signature hits “Independence Day”. And oh yeah, she’s also sang harmonies with Art Garfunkel and Neil Young.
